What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.

Sunday Praise at 9.30am is a more informal style of worship and incorporates Children’s Ministry in the form of Sunday Club (4-11yrs) and our new group Mini Mustard Seeds (18mths- 4yrs) and these groups meet in the Church. Sunday Praise has steadily grown in number and we are now blessed to see 15-20 children regularly attending these groups each week with 40-50 adults at the service. The mission with this service is to spread the Gospel and bring the love of Jesus to those who don’t yet know Him.

The 11am morning service is a more traditional one from the Church of England Common Worship liturgy, it includes hymns, bible reading and prayer with a talk from one of the leaders at the Church. We also regularly give opportunities to share what God has done for you or how we can pray for you. The prayer team are available after each service to talk and pray privately with anyone who wishes.
Tea and coffee are served in the church room after the service.

The evening service has a contemporary feel. A band of musicians lead us in songs of praise to God, there is a bible reading and talk and time for prayer and sharing. Tea and cake are served before and after the service

What happens to the kids at church?

There are groups for children aged 2-11 every week at 9.30am, and starting in September 2017 also for children aged 11-14. The children go to their groups after the first couple of songs in the service. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their activities. The first time you come you will need to go with your children and register them.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
